Sometimes: If the decay is blocked by the crown, however, it will not be visible. There are other diagnostic tests available, including removing the crown, inspecting the tooth, and replacing the crown if everything is OK. If yu think you have a problem, do not delay. See your Dentist immediately before a small problem gets out of hand.
