Cause=no, allow=yes: Your body/GI tract always has the yeast for thrush. When you take an antibiotic you kill off any susceptible germs in your gut & allow extra space & food to support the expansion of the yeast population. Physical location of the anus/vagina makes cross contamination by gut germs easy. You might see this less often in the future if you take probiotics (safe germs) while you take antibiotics.
