Lots of possibilities: Joint irritation may be due to having to remain open for the dental procedure to be done, generalized stress from the procedure itself, or it may be that the occlusion is just a fraction of a millimeter too "high." There are many other possibilities as well. See your Dentist for a reevaluation.

Tough to say...: The bite may need adjusting, or your TMJ might be sore from having your mouth open for a while when the crown was being fabricated and placed. Best bet is to have your restorative dentist take a look.
