6 wks. pregnant/bldg: Bleeding at "6 wks." of pregnancy may be a sign of rejection of the pregnancy. Most of these occurrences are secondary to major genetic abnormalities, which makes the pregnancy incapable of continuing. Fortunately, this does not carry significant concerns regarding the next pregnancy for most women.

Call obsterician: Call your OB doc immediately. If he/she is not available, go to ER asap. A miscarriage is very possible.
