A member asked:

I am experiencing back pain (side: both) and abdominal pain (generalized) (severity: moderate) (quality: throbbing sensation) . the following also describe me: side pain, lower abdominal pain, and upper abdominal pain. what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, appendix, large intestine, abdominal muscles, kidneys, etc... An exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out. Pain in the right upper abdomen can be due to gallstones. Pain in the right lower abdomen can be appendicitis. Stomach flu, food poisoning, other infections, etc., can also cause pain.
