Many possibilities: Common Causes of Left Lower Quadrant abdominal pain include: Cystitis, prostatitis, Pelvic inflammatory disease, constipation, Rectal abscesses, bowel obstruction, urinary tract infections, ovarian cysts in women, and pregnancy. If the pain persists for more than a couple of days, or if it becomes severe, see Your PCP.
