Does an abscess need to be repacked daily, or can it skip a day or two?

It depends on the: location and severity of the abscess. I presume you have had it lanced by a professional healthcare provider and dressing/ wound instructions given with or without antibiotics? If not, please do so at the closest urgent care or ER. Usually repacking daily is the wise move, as the point of the procedure is to wick away the pus or blood left behind so the wound heals properly. Good luck!
