Isolated: Look up courses in local community college or county extended education courses , .Also consider most hospitals have senior courses and many areas have senior centers where you can meet new people and engage with others. Check AARP local chapter. Continue counseling. https://www.aarp.org/personal-growth/life-long-learning/info-01-2011/free_online_learning.html

Support group: Hi sorry for the loss. You can contact the local chapter of American Cancer Society for available support. If the situation is intolerable consider seeing a psychologist, it may help. Good luck.

What you must do: Today's evidence-based counselors will advise you that what you do, including what you do despite it being difficult, is key to changing how you feel. Get out and do things that will cause you to meet people who enjoy the same things that you do. Do this even though it is hard. Your life depends on it. Your physician may also offer you a short course of meds and/or a health check
