What you must do: Today's evidence-based counselors will advise you that what you do, including what you do despite it being difficult, is key to changing how you feel. Get out and do things that will cause you to meet people who enjoy the same things that you do. Do this even though it is hard. Your life depends on it. Your physician may also offer you a short course of meds and/or a health check
