Our 18 month old toddler has baby measels. his caretaker at the creche is pregnant. is it dangerous for her unborn baby?

Hard to say: What you are calling "baby measles" is unclear. Rubella and Measles are uncommon if the kid is properly vaccinated. Both are a threat to the unborn with rubella well known to cause abortion, deafness, blindness & many other issues. Roseola, a condition that mimics measles can trigger the unborn to stop making blood for a while.( can be deadly) If mom is immune to all these there is no risk.
