Pregnant ?: At five weeks of pregnancy, spotting followed by bleeding for two days generally indicates that the pregnancy has failed to grow. Most "miscarriages" are due to severe genetic abnormalities which interfere with the growth of the pregnancy. A quantitative serum HCG level can confirm the status.

1st trimester bleed: Unable to say for sure without more information. Any pain? that would be more concerning. It is not uncommon to have some bleeding during pregnancy but it should be evaluated. There is concern also if you are Rh negative if you know your blood type. Please see your GP ASAP.

Bleeding : This could be threatened abortion. You would need an ultrasound to make sure if everything is alright .
