Odd pattern: Hereditary fructose intolerance, though rare, is seldom a real health problem. Simply excluding fruits and their derivative foods from your diet ends bloating/ gassiness or other features. Other sugars are not part of this disorder unless you have a similar defect in their metabolism. If symptoms persist after exclusion of fruit sugars, it is likely due to another issue.
