A member asked:

Doc says i have a retroverted uterus but 7 months ago he did a full internal /papsmear and never picked it up then. is this possible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Uterine positioning: The uterus is suspended by three ligament in the pelvis and can change position "on a moments notice.". In other words, uterine retroversion may or may not have been present 7 months ago when a pelvic exam was performed.
