Depends: First sono at 6 wks has established your dates and is the best estimate of the true dates. If uterus is larger than expected, need to see if fetus is large or amniotic fluid volume is excessive. Increased fluid most likely related to diabetes in mother, rarely with problems with fetus swallowing. If fetus is too large for your pelvis then C-section could be required but your dates have been set!
