Greasy food.: This wouldn’t be unheard of, certainly. But you may want to have your gallbladder checked out, just to be safe.

Yes: fatty (greasy) foods, as well as caffeinated beverages are among several agents that relax the lower esophageal sphincter and allow stomach contents to rise up in the esophagus causing the heartburn. Use antacids/PPIs as needed, read the labels carefully, try to lose weight, if overweight or obese, see your doctor if no improvement, best wishes
