Foods: Jerusalem artichokes and dandelion root tea contain inulin. They help to increase good (HDL) cholesterol & to lower total cholesterol levels. Try nutritional approaches. Consider oatmeal, bran, apples, oranges, pears, bananas, grapefruit, hazelnuts, avocado, brewer's yeast, royal jelly, saffron, tumeric, honey (buckwheat), alfalfa sprouts, celery, beets, eggplant, garlic, onion &chili peppers.
