I have a 3mm subpleural nodule on my lung, via a ctscan. should i be concerned?

No: In my old home in Kansas City, almost everybody had a few of these -- old healed histoplasmosis. If your physician isn't worried, I wouldn't be. Watch it if needed -- I'll bet it never grows, and taking it out would be riskier than the small chance it's something that can't wait.
