Too many variables: People often just die immediately or soon after gunshot wounds to the abdomen. In any one situation, there are too many variables involved so a person cannot guess what might happen in the 10 minutes after a shooting, much less guess what happens 10 days after a shooting. Prevention is key. Avoid getting shot.
