Hi, i'm 38 and male. i recently discovered that i might have thalassaemi trait and undeactive thyroid.mcv 67.5 fl; mch 22.1 pg; red cell count 6.65 10/12l;rdw 17.2 %; tsh 11.26 miu/l. i am also on brintellix. what is the best treatment?

Thyroid replacement: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, You should consult the doctor who ordered the tests, as you have thyroid deficiency that needs to be corrected. Thalassemia minor is generally not an issue.

Blood test: I have a low MCV, low mch and high rdw. I have euthyrodism- T3, (liothyronine) T4 & S-TSH fine bt my SHBG is high at 198.5 what does it mean?
Weird blood work. low RDW, high MCV, high MCH, high B12. Everything else was 'normal' range Iron levels are up at 60 Thyroid both T3 and T4 are above low. Thanks for your help. I can't work this one out?
