Better go get a shot: This 2017-2018 flu season is peaking early compared to last season, so all the statistics look worse compared to last season because last season didn't get bad until February. However, this 2017-2018 season is similar in timing to the 2012 and the 2014 seasons (both were early seasons). This year will be a really bad season only if flu cases don't drop off over the next 2 weeks (mid-late January).
