Cant remember if nurse clipped off my iv. how do i tell if my iv is still open?

Seeing dripping?: There is usually a clear plastic chamber at the top of the tubing near the IV bag or bottle. One can see dripping inside that plastic chamber in the tubing, if there is flow from the IV bag. If there is no dripping inside that plastic chamber, then there is no flow from the IV bag into the rest of the tubing... which means the IV line is not flowing.
