Needs STD testing: There are no effective treatments for gonorrhea except for antibiotics, especially now that resistant gonorrhea is spreading. A person with suspected gonorrhea should be evaluated by a doctor to check for gonorrhea and other STD infections such as chlamydia, trichomonas, syphillis... Until the doctor's appointment, the person should avoid sexual contact with others, so not to spread the gonorrhea.
