Why does monistat 7 burn a little? and how do you know if its working?

Burning: Monistat does not normally burn after using. The medication is working if your symptoms (itching, redness, swelling and discharge) goes away. But if you see no relief in 24-48 hours, you will need to be seen in the office for a thorough exam.
