I just had a miscarriage 4 days ago. i've been seen by my doctor and he said i can try to conceive again after i've had a period. is it possible to become pregnant before then? i'm still bleeding from miscarriage but my uterus is clear.

Miscarriage/4 d ago: Although it is statistically safer to have pregnancies with short durations between (six to twelve month intervals, as opposed to several years), it is not advised to attempt pregnancy before regular cycles have begun. This generally is six to eight weeks after having a miscarriage. Wait for a period, then use an ovulation detection kit to assure best time to achieve pregnancy.

Yes, it is possible: Your first ovulation after the miscarriage will appear before your next period. If you are not using contraception, you can get pregnant.
