37 wks/blood in ear: Secretions of "ear wax" sometimes becomes hard and can excoriate the tender lining of the auditory canal. During sleep, changes in position can compress the hard "ear wax" to the point of injuring small blood vessels. This has no real significance relative to your pregnancy.
