A member asked:

Why does my blood sugar spike high after treating hypoglycemia? what can be done to prevent this?

Dr. John Chiu answered

Sugar: You introduce sugar to counter significant hypoglycemic attacks and thus it is not surprising to see a spike in blood sugar level after. The way to prevent it would be better diabetic control to avoid hypoglycemic attacks.
