A member asked:

I am experiencing a rash on my chest. i wear buttoned shirts to work every day with a tie and that seems to be where it is... it looks like it is spreading though. it doesnt hurt or itch ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dr. can look at it: Rashes can be from many causes, such as: viral infections, other infections, medication causes, strep throat, hot-tub rashes, heat rashes, reactions to creams or lotions, allergic reactions to various things (clothing, foods, etc.), internal disorders (such as kidney disease, auto-immune disease), etc... That means any rash that persists or is worrisome in appearance should be seen by a doctor.
