See a specialist : See an Oral Surgeon for an examination. There are many Dental problems that are painless in the early stages, more so as time goes on. You will have to be physically examined and imaged to allow the Surgeon to arrive at an accurate diagnosis. By age 24 non-problematic 3rd molars should be fully erupted and in normal function. If not, treatment may be advisable.

Examination: Have yourself examined by a local oral surgeon who can advise you on why you are in pain and the risks/benefits of extracting them.
