GGT: s a very "sensitive" liver function test and is usually the first to elevate (for example with heavy drinking of alcohol) LAXATIVES do NOT cause this but there are many OTHER drugs which can! You need to discuss with your PCP (Primary care Professional) Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
