Check ingredients!: If what you drank isopropyl alcohol alone, then that should not be a problem. But it may be mixed with something else. Please call a poison centre near you and discuss this (try to have the bottle of surgical spirits with the label on it when you call. It is odd to me that you could not tell surgical spirits from castor oil! Label all medicines/cleaners clearly please and read them before using

Surgical spirits?: Am not aware of anything called surgical spirits? Is it rubbing alcohol? If so , it can be poisonous to your system from the additive. If it is pure ethanol, it will work just like alcohol. Not aware of any health benefits on the stomach from castor oil which is a strong laxative.
