I sprained my ankle 3 wks ago. swelling was going down until my ankle moved from instability about a week and a half ago. since swelling hasnt changed. tonight was more painful than its been in a while with burning stabbing pain?

A sprain: You may have a ligament sprain and or a fracture. I would like to know if there is ecchymosis and or black and blue color. Also if the pain is over the bone and is it is a lateral bone or medial bone. Does the pain increase when you turn the foot inward or outward.
