Yes: 5th metatarsal fractures esp. @ the base of the bone are common.Even if you are able to put some weight on your foot you should get an x-ray .A sprain of the peroneal tendons is possible but an examination and x-rays by your ors ( orthopedic surgeon) is best. Good luck!
