Have three kids. since my first child, my periods have been heavy the first two days (change pad every 4 -5 hours, and light to spotting for the next 4. before kids periods were scant but was on the pill. does this sound normal?

Heavy Periods: When you were on the pill the pill was lightening your periods. Most birth control methods will do that. Often we offer birth control to help with heavy periods. Consider a Mirena IUD. This dramatically lightens periods and often stops them completely. This is why it is so popular.
