The heart function: can continue to deteriorate after a heart attack if there are additional blockages in your heart arteries or if you are not able to be treated with medications to avoid detrimental remodeling of the ventricle. More chest pains might indicate you are having additional small heart attacks as well that will also reduce the EF. Discuss your concerns with your health care provider.
