YES!: You should be evaluated for LYME disease (if there are deer in your environment) This disease is TICK borne and can cause a rash followed by arthralgias/arthritis! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z

Unlikely: It is more likely from a viral infection which I estimate would subside within 2 weeks. It is unlikely that it is caused by an insect bite.
