Mgt.: I would advise reviewing your asthma action plan. A virtual consultation may be useful to you and to your PCP. If you have nasal congestion, nasal saline rinses can be used, and an over the counter medication at night. A cough suppressant is not advised. An anti inflammatory agent such as Prednisone is used to control a flare up of your asthma, and side effects should be discussed with your PCP.
