Temporomandibular: Although the problem appears to be from a jaw issue (malocclusion, grinding, clenching etc), a diagnosis can only be established by a dentist or physician.

You should: seek a "hands on" examination . Your discomfort may be from an ARTERY not a vein, specifically your TEMPORAL artery. Inflammation of this vessel should be diagnosed and treated ASAP! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
