Hard to say: Sometimes the first pelvic exam can be a little uncomfortable. I don’t think we can guess at what sort of discharge you had without an exam. You could ask the doctor who did your exam if any abnormalities were found. Sometimes the normal vaginal discharge, cervical mucus and a small amount of blood are expelled after an exam.
