Be careful: Green tea itself may be safe in small amounts but pill formulations contain combinations of substances & you would have to study each formulation to determine what the ingredients may do. Green tea (camellia sinensis) contains caffeine, polyphenols, & tannins. Fussiness, jitteriness & poor sleep patterns have been reported in the infants of mothers with very high caffeine intakes.
