Do you need a prescription to dry your breast milk or can you get medication over the counter?

Drying breast milk: depends on how many months post partum, (delivery / miscarriage) as it takes time for milk production to stop, and that's variable from one lady to the other, however absence of the act of lactation by itself, turns it off. As for drugs, bromocriptine, (parlodel) is an Rx medication which can help halt breast milk production, you need to confer with your doctor for it or any other, good luck
