Do all 8 stages of herpes occur when it's inside the mouth? do you still get the crusting and scabbing that described online?

Initial oral HSV can cause sores inside the mouth, but recurrent herpes lesions are only outside, on the lips or elsewhere on the face. Crusting and scabbing never occur with herpes on moist surfaces.
