Sounds risky: A mosquito can bite a recently infected person (during the first week or two of his or her infection) and then bite a non-infected person and thus give the virus to the second person. A contagious person can transmit the virus through some sexual activities. If a couple truly want to vacation in Zika areas, they can talk with their Ob-Gyn doctor to ask for advice on preventing a Zika-baby.
