My son is 14 and does lots of exercise and keeps healthy. i have been told he has high blood pressure of 150/98. what could cause such a high blood pressure in a healthy teen? is there anything i/he could do to lower his blood pressure?

Hard to say: Yes he has high blood pressure & with or without evaluation you may not find out why. At that level he needs to be seen and treated with meds. Without treatment hidden kidney and other damage are in his future. Simple life changes like a low salt diet may help a little but I wouldn't risk not having it evaluated.
