Medication: Cortisone is available in the US as oral form only. It has a biologic half life of 0.5 hours very short . Side effects to corticosteroids are unusual as they have been used to treat allergies and shock. Perhaps cortisone- is actually one of the other injectable corticosteroids that are given by injection. Tell your Doctor as they are the ones that can best help you

Haven't heard of any: Haven't heard of any way to remove a cortisone (there are several types or cortisones) injection after a person's been injected. If there are an unusual amount of side effects, one's primary care doctor and the doctor who injected the medication can help lessen the side effects, if necessary. Hopefully, the cortisone is working well for the purpose in was injected.
