Oral herpes Rx: Not sure what you mean by "lack of communication". Usual treatment of recurrent oral herpes (cold sores) is single dose of valacyclovir (Valtrex): 2 grams all at once as soon as an outbreak starts. That's all; it works just as well as longer treatment, rarely necessary to continue drug for several days. it always takes 7-10 d for complete healing. Nausea/dizziness prob not due to the drug.
