Maybe growth hormone: I'm not sure of exactly the skull changes you're referring to. I can tell you that increased human growth hormone ( possibly related to a small tumor in the pituitary gland called an adenoma), or else taking HGH directly, can result in changes to skull such as enlargement of forehead, jaw and nose. There are other entities which may cause excessive bone growth such as paget's disease or others.
