A member asked:

Can a solid hemorrhagic ovarian cyst cause random pains in the lymph nodes in the groin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovarian cyst: A "hemorrhagic" ovarian cyst is not usually a cause for groin lymph node pain. Lymph nodes are usually painful in that area secondary to an infectious process (viral or bacterial). As ovarian cysts expand, the pain is lower abdomen, and aggravated by movement, bowel activity, sexual relations, etc.. You might ask your gyn about oral bcp to diminish the occurrence of such cysts.
