Any advice for avoiding lower back pain when working in a warehouse ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lifting injuries: Neck or back pain that starts with a lifting event usually suggests poor technique. Reaching away from the body, then bending/twisting while lifting is asking for problems. Get help (team lift) when weight is heavy or awkward. Minimize lifting from ground level. The closer a weight is to the body, the less stress on the spine. Squat down with the knees, keep back straight. Feel strain? Ease it up.
