I woke up with a sore throat the other day my tonsils are swollen more so on left side and that's the side that has a bunch of white spots on it. i have a headache and all around body aches....i have also been very tired ?

Dr. can check throat: Throat discomfort can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). Throat lozenges and Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin can lessen pain.
