Dried sperm are dead: Wouldn't think any scientists are spending their hours picking through hundreds of guys' precum mucus to count the number of live and dead sperm. Researchers have more pressing issues to work on. So, as always, fertile couples having sexual activities can sometimes get pregnant. Peeing washes sperm out of a penis. Remember the saying, "The only things guaranteed in life are 'death and taxes.'"

Depends: If the precum /sperm make it inside to the sheltered mucousy environment of the womb, they can live 3-4 days. If they dry out on a surface or object they are dead. If still moist within a blob of material they could survive until dry.
