A member asked:

Are there any medical risks for taking the pill?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: All hormones have medical risks. The most important risks are hypertension, cardiovacular disease and blood clots. If you have a history of clotting disorder, migraine headaches or hypertension, you should not take combined hormones. Also if you are a smoker over the age of 35 you should not take the pill.
